Free Love Hang is a solo, artificial intelligence (AI)—inspired installation of long-time SPRING/BREAK participant Anne Spalter.
Anne Spalter is one of the top 50 best crypto artist as per featured in The NFT Magazine.
Her charcoal drawings and acrylic paintings evoke a sensual garden of delights, complete with floating heart-shaped balloons. Says Spalter: “ I enjoyed engaging with this year’s Naked Lunch theme, which celebrates life—in contrast to the depressing news cycle. I wanted to find out if I could use AI to create a new ‘summer of love’.” The imagery in Free Love Hang comprises a range of erotic figures, enmeshed in various forms of embrace, their limbs intertwined and merging into and out of the plastic surface of the image plane.
